About me:

Bred and showed CFA & CCA registered Manx (especially Cymrics=Longhair Manx) for 18 years in GTA (Greater Toronto Area) Canada. Retired from breeding and showing in 1994. When my last Manx died in 2004, I decided to go with my second breed of choice---Devon Rex. I have long admired them at shows, and wished one day to have a Devon. At the shows the Cymrics were always judged after the Cornish Rexes and before the Devon Rexes, so I got to be pretty familiar with the difference between the two Rexes. In 2004, I got two Devons, a Gold-Eye White spay (Alkee) and her neutered half-brother (same sire, different dam), a Seal-Silver Lynxpoint & White neuter (Zuba). Hubby and I LOVE our Devons! My hubby and I do find them diffferent from the Manx---more active, more cuddly lap sitters, but not as chatty, although Zuba is chattier than Alkee. Must be that Siamese gene in his background. I think his granddam was a sealpoint Devon.
